Brianna S. CPB-I, President
Brianna S. is the President of Gateway Medical Solutions and has been a part of the team since 2015. She is an AAPC Certified Professional Biller as well as a certified Instructor. She acts as a provider liaison and aids in the transition of clinics on-boarding with GMS. She is well versed in all areas of the revenue cycle management process which gives her a great ability to identify and resolve trends, to inform offices and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. She is always looking for new ways to improve efficiency and accuracy for GMS clients and employees.
Josh S., Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator
Josh is the AR Administrator and the longest-standing member of the Accounts Resolution team, having been with GMS since 2008. With over 15 years of experience, Josh has gained a working knowledge of every department at GMS and is recognized as an excellent AR trainer and mentor. His expertise extends beyond managing accounts—he is also a Billing Administrator and AR Supervisor, focused on promoting efficient workflows, building strong provider relationships, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
A graduate of the CPB course through GMS, Josh is known for his ability to maintain a positive attitude even in moments of chaos, and he firmly believes that staying calm in times of crisis is the key to continued success. His charisma and sense of humor make him a favorite among coworkers, often lifting team spirit when things get tough.
Josh grew up in Bourbon, Missouri, and is a passionate fan of the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He even runs a respected and trusted Gonzaga social media account: @schwaderZag62. On game day, you’ll often find him with an ice-cold Mr. Pibb in hand, cheering on his team.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and their three beautiful young children, who are his greatest pride and joy. His favorite quote, “Pressure is a privilege,” reflects his outlook on both work and life—embracing challenges as opportunities to grow and excel.
Amber S. BAA, Senior Vice President of Staff Development
Amber is the Posting supervisor. She has worked for GMS since 2013. She has a bachelors degree of Fine Arts in Music as well as a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. Amber is a member of both the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and NAfME. She maintains an organized and efficient department while keeping her employees focused. Amber has a vast knowledge of the company and uses that to assist in inter- department issues and aid other employees. She also internally tracks company metrics and progress to ensure GMS is meeting its expectations. Amber enjoys reading, writing, and gaming in her spare time.

Taylor S. CPB-I, Billing Administrator
Taylor is the Billing Administrator, Hiring Manager and Implementation Coordinator for GMS and is fluent in pediatric, family practice, and OBGYN billing. Taylor has been working with GMS since 2013. She is an AAPC Certified Professional Biller and is also a Certified Professional Billing Instructor through AAPC. Taylor has an upbeat personality and a big heart for her coworkers. She can often be found planning workplace activities and team building exercises.
Marcus M., Billing Supervisor, Chief Credentialing Specialist
Marcus has been a member of the GMS team since 2008. Marcus transitioned into the Billing Supervisor role, and remains the credentialing departmental supervisor. He also works with clients who need training on system use. Marcus has knowledge of all departments and is a wonderful resource for all. When not working he can be found enjoying a good movie or researching family history.
Kayla S., Billing Floor Supervisor
Kayla has been a dedicated member of Gateway Medical Solutions since 2016, excelling in various roles, including Billing Supervisor, Credentialing Specialist, Collections Specialist, and handling attorney requests for medical records. With her extensive experience and deep understanding of medical billing operations, she is now stepping up as our Floor Supervisor. Her leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our team’s success. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys reading and writing her own stories. We are proud to have her continue growing with GMS!
Megan M., Billing Supervisor
We are excited to welcome back Megan to Gateway Medical Solutions as our Neonatology Billing Supervisor. With a strong foundation in medical billing, including completing our comprehensive medical billing course, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise in neonatology and primary care billing. Her leadership and in-depth knowledge will play a vital role in optimizing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maximizing reimbursements for our clients. We are proud to have her on our team and look forward to her contributions to our continued success.
Dani M. CPB, Patient Accounts Supervisor
Dani has been with GMS since 2018 and has taken on many roles within the company, growing into a well-rounded and knowledgeable leader. She currently oversees the Patient Accounts Department, where she ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate service for both providers and patients. Dani holds her Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential since 2019 and also serves as a Notary Public.
With specialized expertise in ophthalmology billing and vein procedure billing, Dani is known for her thorough knowledge and ability to handle complex billing scenarios. Before joining GMS, she worked as a Customer Service Representative for Fidelity Communications, where she built her strong foundation in client service and problem solving.
Colleagues describe Dani as personable, approachable, and hard-working—someone who always goes the extra mile to support her team and clients.
Outside of work, Dani enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She’s a big fan of Disney and Tim Burton, and she loves watching Friends—so much so that she’s part of a Friends Trivia group with other members of the GMS family.

Danielle B., Billing Supervisor
Danielle has a specialty in Neonatology and Pediatric billing. Danielle has been with GMS since 2022. She overseas all Neonatology onboarding to ensure smooth transitions. Danielle has recently been promoted to the Billing Supervisor position for Primary Care and is expanding her knowledge. She has a cute pet hedgehog that likes to sleep in empty tissue boxes.
Abby C., Billing Supervisor
Abby joined Gateway Medical Solutions in November 2023 and has quickly advanced into the role of Billing Supervisor. She specializes in OB/GYN and Pain Management billing and brings more than two years of prior experience in OB/GYN and Neonatology. Her background as a Payment Poster gave her a strong foundation in accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance.
Since joining GMS, Abby has completed the GMS Billing Course and is actively preparing for her National Certification. She is recognized for her energy, insight, and commitment to supporting her team, making her a natural leader within the billing department. In her supervisory role, Abby works closely with providers and teammates to ensure efficient, compliant, and accurate billing practices.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys drawing, playing video games, and spending time with her boyfriend Zack and their two cats. A fan of Imo’s Pizza and sweet tea, she also celebrates Halloween as her favorite holiday.
Jennifer H., Billing Supervisor
Jennifer has been a valued member of Gateway Medical Solutions since 2016 and has recently advanced into the role of Billing Supervisor. With a strong background in the Accounts Resolution department, she successfully transitioned into billing and now specializes in Pain Management clinic billing. Her years of experience at GMS give her a deep understanding of both billing and account resolution, making her a versatile and dependable leader.
Jennifer is recognized for her dedication, precision, and pride in delivering quality results. In her supervisory role, she supports her team by fostering accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration, ensuring providers receive the highest level of billing expertise.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and children, finding balance between her professional leadership role and family life.
Helen G., Accounts Recievable Supervisor
Helen joined Gateway Medical Solutions in 2023 and quickly rose into the role of Accounts Resolution Supervisor. She is widely regarded as an expert in Pediatric AR and takes great pride in ensuring outstanding claims are resolved and providers receive the payments they deserve.
In addition to her pediatric expertise, Helen is versatile in handling Ophthalmology and various surgical groups, bringing broad knowledge to her supervisory role. As a leader, she is known for mentoring her team with patience and encouragement, guiding them to develop their skills while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Respected for her quiet grace, supportive nature, and passion for results, Helen is both beloved by her teammates and trusted by her employees. Her dedication and collaborative approach make her an invaluable part of the GMS leadership team.
